The Fifth Grade experience is a special one at Fox Hill School. Parents of 5th grade students coordinate special events and a yearbook for the graduating class. The PTO generously allocates funds to subsidize the cost of producing and printing the 5th Grade Yearbook and for the “moving on ceremony”, but there are many additional expenses incurred for our activities that we will need your help with.
We hope you will support our efforts to help give our children a fun and memorable send-off as a reward for all their hard work during their years at Fox Hill.
Please consider volunteering to help out with the yearbook or the moving-on ceremony. These two committees work closely together and if you would like to be involved with both, that is fine too.
There are special opportunities and activities that Fifth Graders will enjoy at Fox Hill – with their parents’ (your) help, of course. If you can help with any of these activities, please sign up using the links below:
Class Yearbook: Great mementos to capture this year’s graduating class and many school memories. Please Volunteer!
Send in your photos: The yearbook crew will be looking for any and all pictures of the incoming 5th grade class. An email account has been set up for you to email your digital pictures. We can only accept pictures from Fox Hill activies – nothing outside of school. Packets will be sent home at the beginning of the year.

Move-Up Ceremony: This is a very special day for the kids to celebrate their accomplishment. The day includes an audio-visual presentation, a program, the presentation of a class gift to the school, and a lovely post-graduation reception for the 5th Graders and their families. The ceremony will take place June, 2017.

Class Party: The Class Party is an optional event, open to all Fox Hill 5th graders. It is an offsite event held during non-school hours (managed and run by parents). Students who choose to attend will be asked for an additional payment of around $10 per student. Financial assistance is available if needed. We want every interested student to be able to participate, so please do not hesitate to let us know if assistance is needed. You will receive more information about this event in the spring. Event planned for June, 2017.
